Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms & Spin Doctors at The Pavilion at Ravinia

Summer Co-Headline Tour 

Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms will join forces for a co-headlining summer tour with special guests Spin Doctors. From July to September, the ‘90s trailblazer will put on a total of 30 performances at top venues across the conitinent. The 30-date road trip is set to kick off on July 4 at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado and make stops at stunning outdoor amphitheaters and indoor theaters across North America through September. After travelling through the Midwest, Northeast, West Coast, and Southwest, the tour will wind down at Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Louisville, Kentucky on September 14.

“Getting to play with dear old friends like Gin Blossoms and the Spin Doctors is one of the great benefits of a touring career that spans almost four decades now,” said Blues Traveler frontman John Popper. “These are exceptional players and performers, and they push us to play even harder. Everybody digs in and makes each other better. We are looking forward to a great year of music!”

“It’s gonna be a great run, lots of hits, lots of jammin’ and I’m sure plenty of cross pollinating,” added Blues Traveler’s Chan Kinchla.

Jesse Valenzuela of Gin Blossoms also expressed excitement for the run. “Hitting the road with our friends Blues Traveler is going to be an absolute blast,” he said. “These shows will be packed with great songs, good vibes, and the kind of summer nights you never forget.”

To close the trek, the three groups will play the Bourbon and Beyond Festival in Lexington, KY. The full lineup includes big names like Phish, Noah Kahan, Sturgill Simpson, The Lumineers and Jack White.

The Lineup

Formed in 1987, Blues Traveler is a fan favorite rock band hailing from Princeton, NJ. They are known and loved around the world for their extensive use of segues in live performances. These legends are often considered a major part of the re-emerging jam band scene of the 1990s, helming the H.O.R.D.E. touring music festival. Meanwhile, Gin Blossoms is an American alt rock band which formed in 1987 in Tempe, AZ. They rose to stardom following the 1992 release of their first major label record, New Miserable Experience, and the first single dropped from that album, "Hey Jealousy". Also adding to this killer lineup is the American alternative rock band, Spin Doctors. These special guests hail from New York City, and are best known for their early 90s hits "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong."
