They entered the international music scene in 1992 with their debut album, “Ooooooohhh… On The TLC Tip”, shooting right to the top of the charts. It was, however, the diamond-certified “CrazySexyCool”, that was the game changer, with its debut at peak positions on the Billboard 200. Overall, TLC had nine top-10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including "Creep", "Waterfalls", "No Scrubs", and "Unpretty”. Their accolades include four Grammy Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards, and five Soul Train Music Awards.
TLC's influence is far-reaching: they paved the way for groups such as Destiny's Child and The Spice Girls, and even today, various TLC-isms can be heard in the music of stars such as Rihanna, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj. It is undeniable: TLC revolutionized the way we see girl groups today.
The multi-award-winning songwriter, performer, and hitmaker Shaggy is all about high energy and good vibes all around. His iconic reggae fusion and toasting vocals earned him the title of the only Diamond-selling dancehall artist in music history, selling over 40 million albums worldwide.
Shaggy smashed into the music scene in 1993 with his debut hit, “Oh Carolina”, and shortly thereafter, “Mr Boombastic". His 2000 album, "Hot Shot", debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, achieving platinum status eight times. Shaggy assured us that it wasn't him, but we are quite sure that it was indeed him who pulled in multiple Grammy Award nominations, of which he took home two, as well as Billboard Music Awards and Juno Awards, among others.
